A Brilliant Day with Level Two Youth Project
We recently welcomed a brilliant group from Level Two Youth Project aboard Neverland. Their energy and enthusiasm made for a fantastic day of discovery, connection, and confidence-building on the water.
An Unexpected Trip – A Lasting Memory
When Mike came aboard to check if his wheelchair could safely access Neverland, he didn’t expect to be heading out for an impromptu fishing trip. What followed was a joyful, meaningful day on the water – filled with smiles, good catches, and lasting memories. This unexpected moment captured exactly why we do what we do.
A Day to Remember with Blesma Veterans
We recently had the honour of welcoming veterans from Blesma – The Limbless Veterans Charity – for a memorable sea fishing trip. With perfect conditions, plenty of fish, and even more laughter, the day was a powerful reminder of how time on the water can bring connection, joy, and healing.
Setting Sail for a Busy Year: Enhancing Accessibility & Community Impact with Mind Body and Sea
As spring approaches, we’re preparing for a busy year delivering wellbeing experiences on the water across Ipswich and East Suffolk. With the support of dedicated volunteers – including George Bentley, who has helped enhance our website and streamline referrals – we’re proud to keep our focus on impact, not overheads.
International Volunteers Day: A Huge Thank You
Today, we’re celebrating the incredible volunteers who make Mind Body & Sea possible. Within our own team to those from partner organisations, your time and dedication help us provide meaningful experiences on the water for those who need it most.
October with Mind Body & Sea
This month, we’ve delivered personalised river and sea experiences aboard Neverland for carers, ex-servicemen, and those referred for mental health support. Thanks to our volunteers and supporters, each trip offers connection, calm, and a chance to ‘keep afloat’ – just as one recent participant described it: “a truly special morning.”
