Perfect Conditions for Fishing, Crabbing, and Seals with Level 2

This week, the young people from Level 2 Children’s Charity enjoyed an unforgettable day on Neverland. With calm seas and sunshine, the boat powered out at speed to a deep-water fishing spot to start the adventure.

The Mind Body & Sea team helped cast the bait, and anticipation grew as eyes fixed on the rod tips. Soon, a Lesser Spotted Dogfish made its appearance, quickly followed by another. Excitement spiked when a powerful pull revealed a smooth-hound, and not long after, a good-sized bass came aboard. By the end of the session, every young person had caught a fish.

Next, we moved into the Walton Backwaters for high water, where a lively crabbing competition began. Port versus Starboard teams hauled in up to five or six crabs at a time, with laughter and cheers echoing across the deck.

With buckets brimming, we headed to visit the local seal colony. Playfully swimming in the shallows, the seals offered close-up views for some fantastic photographs to share with friends and family.

Music played as Neverland carried her young guests back to Levington, rounding off another amazing day filled with connection, adventure, and lasting memories.
