A Day of Joy and Discovery Afloat with Ashcott House

Earlier in July, Mind Body and Sea had the pleasure of welcoming a group from Ashcott House in Ipswich, where residents live with learning disabilities.

We set off aboard Neverland on a near-perfect day, cruising up the River Orwell to the iconic bridge and offering everyone a new perspective on the world from the water. For many in the group, this was their first experience aboard a boat, and the joy was evident.

On the return journey, we played music chosen by the group, transforming the boat into a floating celebration filled with smiles, singing, and shared enjoyment.

Experiences like these are about more than a change of scenery. They offer freedom, connection, and the simple joy of being in the moment.

We are grateful to the team at Ashcott House for joining us and look forward to welcoming them back again soon.
